The
Association of Professional Investigators (Singapore) - API(S) is formed
by a group of like-minded professionals in varied fields of investigative
work.
The
Association was registered with the Singapore Registrar of Societies and
was approved and gazetted by the relevant authority on 3rd August 2000.
The
objectives of the Association are :

To
conduct and carry on related activities for the purpose of obtaining due
recognition for its members as professionals in the field of investigation

To
provide members with all possible information, guidance, advice and necessary
assistance to raise their professionalism

To
promote and maintain ethical and professional standards of its members.

To
establish a global network with other like associations internationally

To
set up an accreditation board within the Association to accredit professional
investigators and private investigation companies or agencies that meet
the standards set by the board
Its
farther goal is to expand the Association into an Asian platform.
